Wanderwege hier auf La Digue sind im Gegensatz zu Mahé und Praslin spärlich
beschriftet... Auf den beiden grösseren
Inseln sind die Routen gut ausgeschildert und am Start mit einer Karte
visualisiert. Die Wege, die nicht gepflegt und öffentlich sind, sollte man nicht
allein bewandern, denn nach einem Jahr mit wenig Touristen können diese
verwildert sein... diese Erfahrung habe ich ja in Praslin gemacht...
In contrast to Mahé and Praslin, the hiking trails here on La Digue are marked sparsely... On the two larger islands the routes are well signposted and visualized with a map at the start. The paths that are not well-kept and public should not be hiked alone, because after a year with few tourists they can be overgrown... I made this experience in Praslin...

Am
Samstag standen die letzten noch nicht besuchten Strände auf meinem Programm.
Die Anse Marron ist nur per Boot und zu Fuss mit einem Führer erreichbar: Die
4-stündigen Wanderung von Grand Anse zur Anse Marron und über Anse Source
d'Argent zum Union Park fordert Kletterkünste und führt 1 Stunde durch die
Felsen - zudem sind 15 Minuten Waten im Meer angesagt! Die Führer kennen nicht
nur den unsichtbaren Weg über die Felsen, sondern auch die Gezeiten!

ein Glückstreffer: Ein sanfter, bescheidener Bursche, der nicht zuerst und nur
an seine Kasse denkt und jeden Aussichtspunkt kennt... so kletterten wir
zusätzlich noch auf manchen Felsen mehr für atemberaubende Fotos! Urs, dem
neuen, vielgereisten Schweizer Gast im Hotel Patatran (https://www.patatranseychelles.com)
war als ambitionierter Fotograf ganz in seinem Element! : )
On Saturday the last beaches I had not yet visited were on my programme. Anse Marron can only be reached by boat and on foot with a guide: The 4-hour hike from Grand Anse to Anse Marron and via Anse Source d'Argent to Union Park requires climbing skills and leads 1 hour through the rocks - in addition about 15 minutes wading in the sea! The guides do not only know the invisible path over the rocks, but also the tides!
Dave (Tel: +248-2536142) was a stroke of luck: A gentle, humble fellow who doesn't think first and only about money, he knows every viewpoint... thus we climbed some more rocks for breathtaking photos! Urs, the new and well-travelled Swiss guest at the Hotel Patatran (https://www.patatranseychelles.com), as an ambitious photographer was in his element! : )

Wettermässig
war diese Woche sehr wechselhaft - oft auch abrupt, so dass ich immer einen
Regenschirm und ein Strandtuch in meiner Tagestasche dabei hatte... oder ich
genoss meine Zeit einfach im und ums wunderschöne Hotel Patatran... Lindy
brachte mir Farbe mit und ich machte mich an mein erstes Mahnmal hier auf La
Digue…
In terms of weather, this week was very changeable - often abruptly, that's why I always packed an umbrella and a beach towel in my bag of the day... or I just enjoyed my time in and around the wonderful Hotel Patatran (http://www.patatranvillagehotel.website)... Lindy brought me paint, so I made my first memorial here on La Digue…

Am
Mittwoch lockte es mich an die Anse Songe und weiter zur Grand L'Anse, die nach dem vielen Regen ganz
verwandelt aussah... auch meine Whirlwanne war bei Ebbe verschwunden - trotzdem
genoss ich es! Auf dem Rückweg hielt ich für einen Drink in der Bikini Bottom
Bar (https://www.facebook.com/search/posts/?q=bikini%20bottom) an der Anse Severe,
nichtsahnend, dass sie am folgenden Tag von der Polizei geschlossen werden
würde: zu viele Leute!? - Schade! : (

On Wednesday I went once more to Anse Songe and further to Grand L'Anse, which looked different
after all the rainfall... even my whirlpool had disappeared at low tide - but I
still enjoyed it! On the way back I stopped for a drink at the Bikini Bottom
Bar (https://www.facebook.com/search/posts/?q=bikini%20bottom) on Anse
Severe, not knowing that it would be closed by the police the following day:
too many people!? - What a pity! : (
