Last night it rained so heavily that I woke up a few times... in the morning it was noticeably cooler, so I slipped under the thin duvet for the first time. Although it is usually very hot (30 centigrade during the day, 24 at night) I never use the air conditioning - the artificial cold stresses my body! – I use only the ceiling fan and I even turned this off tonight!

Um 11 Uhr fuhr ich mit Henri und seinem Sohn Hugo in die Stadt: Es wurde Zeit, dass ich mein WiFi Problem löste... da die neuen kleinen Laptops nur noch wenige Eingänge besitzen, musste ich mir auch einen Mehrfach-USB-Stecker besorgen - natürlich war es der Letzte! ; ) Da ich schon mal in Victoria war, begutachtete ich alle Geschäfte und fand einiges... auch eine Schnorchelausrüstung (meine 25 Jahre alte hatte ich im März auf den Andamanen in Indien gelassen, Blog: https://franziskaaeschbach23.blogspot.com).
At 11 am I drove into town with Henri and his son Hugo: It was time to solve my WiFi problem... as the new small laptops only have a few inputs, I had to get a multiple USB plug too - of course it was the last one! ; ) As I was already in Victoria, I inspected all the shops and found a lot... including snorkelling equipment (I left my 25 years old one on the Andamans in India in March, blog: https://franziskaaeschbach23.blogspot.com).

Maskenpflicht
herrscht hier in den (meisten) Läden und auch im Bus, aber sie nehmen es nicht
so genau oder in andern Worten: sie sind sehr entspannt! ; ) Es wurde mir
erzählt, dass die Leute hier auf den Seychellen jetzt so sauber sind, dass sie
nicht mal mehr die normale Grippe bekommen!
It is mandatory to wear a mask in (most) shops and the bus, but they don't take it too seriously or in other words: they are very relaxed! ; ) I've been told that the people here in Seychelles are so clean now that they don't even get the normal flu anymore!

Um 14:45
Uhr nahm ich den Bus zurück Richtung Süden. Eine Fahrt kostet 7 Rupien (30 Cent
oder Rappen) und dauerte 45 Minuten bis ich im Le Domaine de Bacova (http://www.seychellesvillasbacova.com) in Pointe au Sel ankam.
At 2:45 pm I took the bus back south. A trip costs 7 rupees (30 cents) and took 45 minutes to get to Le Domaine de Bacova (http://www.seychellesvillasbacova.com) in Pointe au Sel.

Nach meiner obligaten Stunde Jogging und Schwimmen (3 mal die Woche seit 30 Jahren!) spazierte ich zum Hot Rock Take-Away (https://www.facebook.com/Hot-Rock-Cafe-Take-Away-107646214301557), 5 Min von zuhause, das ich beim Joggen entdeckt hatte. Cyrill kocht jeden Tag mehrere verschiedene Menus... einfach nur köstlich! : ) Das nächste Mal bringe ich Teller und Besteck mit damit wenigstens ich das unsinnige Wegwerfmaterial nicht benutze...

After my obligatory hour of jogging and swimming (3 times a week for 30 years), I went for a walk to the Hot Rock Take-Away (https://www.facebook.com/Hot-Rock-Cafe-Take-Away-107646214301557), 5 minutes from home, which I discovered while jogging. Cyrill cooks several different menus every day... simply delicious! : ) Next time I'll bring my plate and cutlery so that at least I don't use the nonsensical disposable material...
