Meine
ersten 3 Tage auf La Digue waren von einem tropischen Sturm mit viel Regen
geprägt... Ich war echt froh, hatte ich hier Halbpension gebucht, so musste ich
in diesem Hundewetter nicht raus ein Restaurant suchen, das offen ist! : )
My first 3 days on La Digue were dominated by a tropical storm with a lot of rain... I was really happy that I had booked half board here, so I didn't have to look for a restaurant that is open in this beastly weather! : )

Es war
auch bedeutend kühler, so dass meine langen Hosen zum Zug kamen.... zu tun und Arbeit
habe ich immer genug und so machte ich es mir in meinem grossen wunderschönen
Zimmer des Hotel Patatran (https://www.patatranseychelles.com) mit Arbeit, Yoga und viel Tee
gemütlich. Allerdings musste ich beim Yoga die Balkontüre schliessen, sonst
hätte ich bei diesem ohrenbetäubenden Lärm der Wellen Monikas Anleitung in der
Videoaufzeichnung nicht verstanden... und zum Glück hatte ich sie
runtergeladen, denn das Unwetter unterbrach immer wieder das Internet...
It was also significantly cooler, so my long trousers came into play... I always have enough (work) to do and so I made myself comfortable in my large, beautiful room of the Hotel Patatran (https://www.patatranseychelles.com) with work, yoga and lots of tea. However, I had to close the balcony door while doing yoga, otherwise I would not have understood Monika's instructions in the video recording because of the earsplitting noise of the waves...

Als sich
am Samstag Morgen blauer Himmel zeigte, nutzte ich die Gelegenheit um die
Umgebung joggend zu erkunden. Barfuss im Bikini machte ich mich der Ostküste
entlang Richtung Süden bis der Zementweg aufhörte. Die Flut gab wenig Strand
zum Laufen frei, aber die Anse Fourmis lud zum Schwimmen ein. Und ja - ich tat
es wieder mal: Da keine Menschenseele weit und breit zu sehen war, stürzte ich
mich nackt in die Fluten - wie herrlich! : )
When on Saturday morning blue sky appeared, I took the opportunity to explore the surroundings by jogging. Barefoot in my bikini I made my way south along the east coast until the cement road stopped. The high tide gave little beach to run, but Anse Fourmis invited for a swim. And yes - I did it again: Since not a soul was to be seen far and wide, I plunged naked into the water - how wonderful! : )

Am
Samstag Abend gab es nochmals einen Regenunterbruch und ich spazierte den
Kilometer und die 20 Minuten nach in den Ort La Psse beim Fährenterminal. Im Tarosa (https://www.facebook.com/tarosaladigue) genoss
ich einen Sundowner und den Sonnenuntergang... Zurück versuchte ich mit einem
Bus zu kommen, aber die Fahrer und ihre Mithelfer sind sehr arrogant auf La
Digue und fahren lieber leer als mit zahlenden Passagieren: Die Fahrt kostet
14x so viel wie auf Mahé und Praslin! Sehr wahrscheinlich sind es private Unternehmer
und waren bisher gewohnt, dass die Touristen jeden Preis bezahlen?

On Saturday evening there was another rain break and I walked the
kilometre and 20 minutes to La Passe close to the jetty. At
Tarosa (https://www.facebook.com/tarosaladigue) I enjoyed a sundowner and the sunset. I tried to get back by bus, but
the drivers and their helpers are very arrogant here on La Digue and prefer to
drive empty than with paying passengers: The journey costs 14 times as much as
on Mahé and Praslin! Probably they are private companies and used to that
tourists pay any price?
