Heute
Morgen erwachte ich um 5:30 Uhr, eine halbe Stunde vor meinem
Antibiotika-Weckruf. Während ich meine restlichen Sachen in meine Koffer
steckte und den Captain's Room nochmals zum Vollsten genoss, brachte mir Rivu
einen doppelten Espresso und Obst für unterwegs aufs Zimmer. Shanta schenkte
mir einen Sack voller Avocado für aufs Boot und dann stand bereits das Taxi vor
der Tür...
This morning I woke up at 5:30 am, half an hour before my antibiotic wake-up call. While I was putting the rest of my things in my suitcases and enjoying the Captain's Room to the fullest for the last time, Rivu brought me a double espresso to my room and fruit to take to the boat. Shanta gave me a bag full of avocados for the boat and then the taxi was already in front of the door...

5 Minuten
später um 7:05 erreichten wir den Hafen, wo ich weitere Passagiere unserer Bird
Island Cruise kennen lernte bzw. wiedertraf: Katja, Harry, Patrizia und Lionel.
Und plötzlich klopfte jemand auf meine Schulter: Suzie, eine der Putzfeen des
Hotel Patatran (https://www.patatranseychelles.com), mit ihrer 12-jährigen Nichte
Shakira... ob die Minderjährige in meiner Begleitung nach Mahé fahren dürfe? -
Klar! : ) Eine
Viertelstunde später machten wir einen Zwischenstopp in Praslin bevor es eine
halbe Stunde später weiterging nach Mahé, wo die Cat Cocos (http://www.catcocos.com) kurz vor vor 9 Uhr das Jetty
erreichten... Patrizia und Lionel fuhren mit dem Gepäck per Taxi direkt zur
Eden Island zum Hafen, wo der Katamaran Turquoise ankerte. Katja, Harry und ich
marschierten zuerst zur Einwanderungsbehörde. Dort nahm ich endlich meinen Pass
mit dem verlängerten Visum entgegen und Katja und Harry brachten ihre Pässe zur
Verlängerung ihres Visums. Kasia, ein weiterer Mitpassagier, hatte bereits die
Einkäufe für uns erledigt und holte uns in der Stadt ab.
5 minutes later at 7:05 am we reached the harbour, where I got to know or re-met other passengers of our Bird Island Cruise: Katja, Harry, Patrizia and Lionel. And suddenly someone patted on my shoulder: Suzie, one of the cleaning fairies at Hotel Patatran (https://www.patatranseychelles.com), with her 12-year-old niece Shakira... if I could accompany the minor to Mahé? – Of course! : ) A quarter of an hour later we made a stopover in Praslin before we continued to Mahé half an hour later, where Cat Cocos (http://www.catcocos.com) reached the jetty shortly before 9 am... Patrizia, Lionel and all our luggage went by taxi directly to Eden Island to the port, where the Catamaran Turquoise anchored. Katja, Harry and I first marched to the immigration office. There I finally collected my passport with the extended visa and Katja and Harry handed their passports to extend their visa. Kasia, another fellow passenger, had already done our shopping and picked us up in town.

Es war
brütend heiss, als ich unser Zuhause für die kommenden Tage, die Turquoise (https://www.voileseychelles.com) betrat um Fred (den
Captain und Besitzer) sowie Steve (den Koch) kennenzulernen und meine Kabine zu
beziehen. Wir waren alle sichtlich glücklich etwas Bewegung in unser Sein zu
bringen und ein neues Abenteuer anzusteuern... so liefen wir um 12:30 nach Plan
aus...
Der
Nachmittag auf See gab die Möglichkeit und Zeit einander (besser)
kennenzulernen, sich einzurichten, auszuruhen, unser Abendessen zu fischen und
das erste fantastische Mahl unseres Kochs Steve zu geniessen: Steve überraschte
uns jeden Tag aufs Neue mit seiner Kreativität und Kochkunst! : )
It was blazing hot when I entered our home for the next few days the Turquoise (https://www.voileseychelles.com) meet Fred (the captain and owner) and Steve (the chef) and moved into my cabin. We were all visibly happy to bring some movement into our being and to head for a new adventure... that’s how we put to sea at 12:30 according to plan...
The afternoon at sea gave the opportunity and time to get to know each other (better), to settle in, to rest, to fish our dinner and to enjoy our first fantastic lunch of chef Steve: Steve surprised us every day with his creativity and culinary skill! : )

Nach dem
Abendessen legte ich mich schon früh aufs Ohr... die Antibiotika zeigten ihre
Wirkung... als ich plötzlich von lautem Vogelgekreische zurückgeholt wurde: Das
muss Bird Island sein - es ist 22 Uhr, wie Fred angekündigt hatte! - Wow, der
bereits stockdunkle Himmel war voller Vögel... Tausende, das verriet ihre
Lautstärke...

After dinner I hit the sack quite early... the antibiotics took their
full effect... until I was suddenly brought back by a loud screeching of birds:
That must be Bird Island - it's 10 pm, as Fred had announced! - Wow, the
already pitch dark sky was full of birds... thousands, their volume revealed their
quantity...
