Es war
Freitag, meine Tochter und Familie war unterwegs nach Hause in die Schweiz und
wir dislozierten ebenfalls: Am Nachmittag ging es mit der Fähre zur
Nachbarinsel Praslin. Ich hatte bereits letzten Dezember 3 Wochen dort
verbracht und wusste genau wohin es gehen würde…
It was Friday, my daughter and family were on their way home to Switzerland and we were also about to dislocate: In the afternoon we took the ferry to the neighbouring island of Praslin. I had already spent 3 weeks there last December and knew exactly where we were going...

Aber zuerst
stand noch ein letztes Frühstück auf dem Programm - fast alles ging auf und das
restliche Obst wurde zu einem Saft gemixt. Packen stand ebenfalls auf der Liste
und wie wir alles in den kleinen Hyundai i10 bringen würden... was klappte, da
die Rücklehne in 2 Teilen heruntergelassen werden konnte: Wir hatten 3 Koffer, 1
grosses Sportgepäck, 1 kleiner Koffer und viel Handgepäck!
But first there was a last breakfast on the programme – we had used up almost everything and the remaining fruit was mixed to a juice. Packing was also on the list and how we would get everything into the small Hyundai i10... which worked because the backrest could be lowered in 2 parts: We had 3 suitcases, 1 large sports bag, 1 small suitcase and a lot of hand luggage!

Kurz nach
14 Uhr fuhren wir von der Villa Fleur de Sel (https://fleur-de-sel-villa.business.site) los und erreichten das Jetty in
Victoria 1 Stunde später – es hatte sehr viel Verkehr. Um 16 Uhr
verliess die Cat Cocos (http://www.catcocos.com)
Mahé und etwas mehr als 1 Stunde später erreichten wir Praslin.
Shortly after 2 pm we left Villa Fleur de Sel (https://fleur-de-sel-villa.business.site) and reached the jetty in Victoria 1 hour later - there was a lot of traffic. At 4 pm Cat Cocos (http://www.catcocos.com) left Mahé and a little more than 1 hour later we reached Praslin.

Dort erwartete
uns Deepak von Aventure Car Hire (www.papacarrental.com) und unser Hyundai i20 für 1
Woche (das Gepäck hatte auch dort Platz!). Wir fuhren der Westküste entlang
und das Wetter funkelte in allen Varianten: Zuerst war es sehr heiss, dann
zeigte sich die Abenddämmerung immer dramatischer bis es heftig regnete als wir
bei Sonnenuntergang im Le Tropique Villa (http://www.tropiquevilla.com) in Grand
Anse ankamen. Dort hatte ich bereits im Dezember 3 Wochen verbracht. Und weil
es so schön war, wollte ich 1 weitere Woche mit meiner Mutter und Hansruedi
dort verbringen. Zeit hatten wir ja (Rückflug 13.5., also noch 3 Wochen und ich
werde mit den beiden zurückfliegen) und meine Mutter erwies sich als
reisetauglich! : )
There Deepak from Aventure Car Hire (www.papacarrental.com) and our Hyundai i20 for 1 week were waiting for us (there was also room for our luggage in there!). We drove along the west coast and the weather sparkled in all variations: At first it was very hot, then dusk showed up more and more dramatically until it rained heavily when we arrived Le Tropique Villa (http://www.tropiquevilla.com) at sunset Grand Anse. I had already spent 3 weeks there in December. And because it was so wonderful, I wanted to spend another week there with my mum and Hansruedi. We had time (return flight May 13th, so another 3 weeks and I'll fly back with the two) and my mum turned out to be fit to travel! : )
