Heute
hatte ich den Norden der Insel Mahé im Visier. Kurz nach Mittag ging es los die
übliche Strecke via Highway nach Victoria, nur diesmal weiter der Rue Etoile de
Mer entlang rund um den äussersten Norden der Insel. Meine heutige Route über total
70 km führte mich entlang der Küste
gegen Uhrzeigersinn bis nach Beau Vallon, das normalerweise vor Touristen
strotzt... Im Boathouse (https://www.facebook.com/boathouseseychelles) Garden
bei 2 sympathischen Ladies vom Gardasee stärkte ich mich mit einem
Mango-Papayasaft bevor ich meine erste Wanderung startete.
Today I had the north of the island of Mahé on my schedule. Shortly after noon I took the usual route via the highway to Victoria, only this time further along Rue Etoile de Mer around the north of the island. Today's trip of a total of 70 km led me counterclockwise along the coast to Beau Vallon, which is usually bursting with tourists... In the Boathouse (https://www.facebook.com/boathouseseychelles) Garden I had a fresh mango papaya juice with 2 friendly ladies from Lake Garda before I started my first hike.

Der Anse
Major Trail dauert 2 Stunden hin und zurück und führt 50 m über dem Meer auf
einem Weg aus dem 18. Jh. durch, über und unter Granitfelsen zur Anse Major.
Dort wurde Vanille, Zimt, Copra (getrocknete Kokosnuss) und Citrus/Agrumes
Patchouli produziert, das auf diesem Weg in den Handel kam...
The Anse Major Trail takes 2 hours there and back and leads 50 m above sea level on a path from the 18th century between, over and under granite rocks to Anse Major. Vanilla, cinnamon, copra (dried coconut) and citurs/agrumes patchouli were produced there, which went on sale this way...

Nachdem
ich in der Anse Major meinen Schweiss im Meer abgewaschen und die Hängematte
ausprobiert hatte ging es auf demselben Weg zurück zum Auto, das ich in Danzil
parkiert hatte. Wenige Minuten und Kilometer später war ich wieder in Beau Vallon,
genau rechtzeitig zum Sonnenuntergang. Dann plagte mich ein Hunger und ich
versuchte mein Glück im La Plage (https://www.facebook.com/Restaurant-La-Plage-Seychelles-205237496193049), wo ich
ein leckeres Job Fisch Filet, Kartoffelstock mit geräuchertem Fisch und Gemüse
genoss.

After washing off my sweat in the sea in Anse Major and trying out the
hammock, I took the same route back to the car that I had parked in Danzil. A
few minutes and kilometers later I was back in Beau Vallon, just in time for
sunset. Then I got hungry and tried my luck at La Plage (https://www.facebook.com/Restaurant-La-Plage-Seychelles-205237496193049),
where I enjoyed a delicious job of fish fillet, mashed potatoes with smoked
fish and vegetables.
