Am
Sonntag fühlte ich mich alles andere als fit... trotzdem ging ich als erstes am
Morgen joggen, so gut es ging - das tut immer gut und so hatte ich wenigsten
etwas getan heute! Den Rest des extrem heissen Tages verbrachte ich in meinem
hübschen grossen Apartment des Le Tropique Villa (http://www.tropiquevilla.com) mit 2 Ventilatoren sowie der Pflege meiner
Wunden, Arbeit an meinem Blog und Weiterreise. Therese hatte mich mit Salben
und Verband versorgt, Sunjoy und Jeanine brachten mir Obst und Gemüse aus dem
Garten und Kokosnüsse vom Baum! : )
On Sunday I felt anything but fit... nevertheless, first thing in the morning I went for a run as well as possible - it always feels good and after that I had at least done something today! The rest of the extremeIy hot day I spent in my pretty, large apartment at Le Tropique Villa (http://www.tropiquevilla.com) with 2 fans, caring for my wounds, working on my blog and planning the continuation of my travels. Therese had provided me with ointments and bandages, Sunjoy and Jeanine brought me fruit and vegetables from the garden and coconuts from the tree! : )

Am Dienstag
fuhr ich am Mittag via Vallée de Mai (kürzeste Strecke) zum Chill n Grill der
Villa Anse La Blague (https://www.villaanselablague.com)
in der gleichnamigen Bucht. Dort verdrückte ich einen Redsnapper bei Georgette
und Sarda – einfach nur wunderbar!
On Tuesday at noon I drove via Vallée de Mai (shortest route) to the Chill n Grill of Villa Anse La Blague (https://www.villaanselablague.com) in the bay of the same name. There I had a red snapper at Georgette and Sarda's - simply wonderful!

Meine
Wunden am Fuss hatte ich gut eingepackt – trotzdem drückten meine Joggingschuhe
als ich mich auf die Wanderung zur Anse La Farine machte… Schon bald verlief
sich der Wanderweg im Busch und ich orientierte mich mit maps.me bis mir
Felswände und Büsche den Weg versperrten… Nach einer Stunde erfolgloser Suche
nach einem Weg zur Anse La Farine beschloss ich zurückzukehren, was sich genau
so schwierig herausstellte: Nur 50 m und ich wäre auf dem Wanderweg aber kein
Durchkommen! Meinen Fuss hatte ich schon bald vergessen, denn jetzt gab es ganz
andere Hindernisse zu bewältigen… mit Katzer und Stichen von Stachelpalmen an
den Beinen schaffte ich es schliesslich auf die Lichtung und zum erholenden Bad
in der seichten Bucht Anse La Blague…
I had taped up my wounds on my foot tightly - but still my jogging shoes were giving a pressure when I started my hike to Anse La Farine... Soon the trail ran into the bush and I used maps.me to orientate myself until cliffs and bushes blocked my way... After an hour of unsuccessful search for a way to Anse La Farine, I decided to return, which turned out to be just as difficult: Only 50 m and I would be on the hiking path but I was unable to get through! I soon had forgotten about my foot, because now there were completely different obstacles to overcome... with scratches and stings from prickly palms on my legs I finally made it to the glade and to a relaxing bath in the shallow bay of Anse La Blague...

Am
Dienstag versorgte ich nicht nur meine alten Wunden, sondern die neuen von der
gestrigen Wanderung… es war eh zu heiss um nach draussen zu gehen… Am Abend kam
mit dem Regen endlich die erlösende Abkühlung! Und ich fuhr die 5,5 km zur
Wohfühloase des Les Rochers (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Les%20Rochers,%20Praslin,%20Seychelles/695383024175324),
wo ich einen Drink (frischer Saft mit einem Schuss dunklem Takamaka Rum)
genoss, der mit leckeren warmen Bananen- und Kokoschips serviert wurde, gefolgt
von einem Crab Curry – was für ein Festmahl! : )

On Tuesday I not only took care of my old wounds, but also the new ones
from my yesterday's hike… it was too hot to go outside anyway… In the evening the
rain finally brought the relieving cooling! And I drove the 5.5 km to wellness
world of Les Rochers (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Les%20Rochers,%20Praslin,%20Seychelles/695383024175324),
where I had a drink (fresh juice with a dash of dark Takamaka Rum), which was
served with delicious warm banana and coconut chips, followed by a crab curry -
what a feast! : )
